What it does: I heart the ’90s. What’s not to love? Grunge music, plaid shirts, 90210… and in beauty, Fruits & Passion. There’s something about their scents that takes me back to 1994. But while their fragrance M.O. hasn’t changed much in 15 years (why mess with a winning formula?), their new eco-friendly range is definitely circa 2009.
If you’re into these scents (there are three), you could really go to town here. Because not only are there a gazillion product options (okay, six: an eau de toilette, foaming bath, hand soap, hand cream, shower gel and body butter), everything is totally green too. Biodegradable and formulated without sulphates or colourants, they contain between 86 and 95 percent plant-based ingredients. Well done, F&P!
Apple Illusion, a fruity, youngish scent, is out now—and if you saw this post, you’ll know that description is a good thing. Coming soon: two more scents, Peach Obsession and Mango Evasion.
Best suited for: A hit of ’90s nostalgia, or if you like your scents to be as all-natural as possible.
Priced between $12-30. Available at Fruits & Passion boutiques across Canada, or online at www.fruits-passion.com.
