If you’ve been curious about the new vibrating mascaras, but were scared off by their hefty price tags, I’ve got some good news for you. Maybelline New York is launching their own version, called Pulse Perfection, and it’s just $18.99. (That’s less than half the price of Lancôme’s version… and since they’re both manufactured by the same company, L’Oréal, I’m guessing the technology is fairly similar.)

I have to say, I was a little disappointed with the performance of this! The motor is the same, says the company, but clearly the formulas are not. So it’s back to Oscillation I go…
Oh no! I haven’t tried mine yet (I’m trying to cut down on opening up mascaras and actually use up the 10+ I have on my dresser). I was hoping I’d love this. Darn!
