So, as you might have guessed (based on the title of this blog), by day I write about beauty for magazines like ELLE Canada. And if you caught this article of mine (a few issues back), you may have read about The Solution by Envision Beauty, a little New York-based company that’s developed quite the cult following.
I first noticed the product written up in a few American magazines last year (and noted that celebs like Kristen Bell and Sophia Bush were raving about it). Then, I read about Jolie Nadine’s meeting with Envision Beauty founder Kimberly Snyder—a Renaissance Woman if there ever was one! (Not only has she created her own beauty company, she travelled the world for several years, stars in yoga videos and is a certified nutrition expert and raw food chef. Yowza! Oh, and she’s also—as you can see below—drop-dead gorgeous. Read more about her here.)
Anyway, the reason I mentioned Kimberly’s company in my story (which was about the next big beauty trends—head on over here and check it out!) was because it’s one of the few brands out there that recognize it’s possible to be natural, but ALSO results-driven. I mean, wouldn’t you want to use something natural if you knew it worked just as well at dealing with your particular skin issues as something made in a lab?
I know I would—which is why The Solution is next up on my beauty to-do list. (I know, it’s a drag I haven’t got around to trying it yet… but I’m trying to be more eco and actually use up the products I test. So, soon!) Thanks to a long list of high-performing (but natural) actives like goji, acai, DMAE, alpha-lipoic acid, and vitamins A, B5, C and E, The Solution works on wrinkles, firmness and radiance. It’s paraben-free too.
But the natural thing isn’t the only reason I want to try it. The other is because I’m lazy, and this definitely lends new meaning to the term “all-in-one.” Really—it replaces your (1) day cream, (2) night cream (3) eye cream (4) moisturizer (5) anti-aging serum and (6) pre-makeup base. And best of all, any skin type can use it.
