Chocolatey goodness: Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula

I’m not really a chocoholic—I’m more of a savoury girl—but even I want to slather myself in Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula. Yes, it smells that good. But there’s more to it than that.

When I lived in Australia a few years back, this was THE cult product that all the beauty editors talked about. (No, I wasn’t a beauty editor then, but I sure was obsessive about reading magazines.) Anyway, the reason it was a favourite (and still is, I’m guessing) is because it’s instantly softening, improves the appearance of marks, scars and stretch marks, and soothes skin post-tanning (which… ahem… you know you’re not supposed to do, right?). It’s also great for smoothing cuticles, elbows and knees, and even leaving on your feet overnight to get rid of dryness and cracking. All of that and it’s non-greasy, too.

Quite impressive for a moisturizer that’s under $10, no?

Priced at $5.99. Available at Wal-Mart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Overwaitea and Pharmaprix stores across Canada.
