Okay, so this isn’t exactly about beauty—but I still want to recommend that you go see the indie film Valentino: The Last Emperor. It opens today, and earlier this week I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview (complete with a post-movie Q&A session with the director, Matt Tyrnauer, special correspondent for Vanity Fair). Time said it was “flawless,” The Globe calls it “beautiful in every way”—I say it’s an absolutely hilarious inside look at the crazy world of fashion.

HIGHLY entertaining. Fave moments include ALT shrieking over his couture “tent” (for lack of a better word) and Orlando Pita’s face when Valentino rejects his Guy-Bourdin inspired hair idea. OH! And when Giancarlo tells Valentino he’s too tan. Amazing.
