There's a curse in my family: all the men have luxurious, dark super-long eyelashes. And us womenfolk? Short, pale, anemic little stubs. Which is why I think I need this new innovation from Lancôme. You see, it's not just a mascara primer (a category which, I'll confess, I've never been that interested in... I mean, who's got the time for the extra step of painting white goop on your lashes before the black stuff?). No, this little guy doesn't mess around: it actually helps promote lash growth. Weird, right?
So here's how it works: like its cousin, the original Lancôme Ôscillation, the wand vibrates (which is pretty cool in itself). The vibration action massages the lashes at their base, which is supposed to help them look thicker and longer and make any new growth more visible. The formula also contains an anti-hair loss complex and a circulation-boosting amino acid, both of which strengthen lashes and prevent premature lash loss.
Is it a gimmick? Maybe. But, like most women, I'm willing to try anything that gives my lashes a boost. You can use this under any mascara.
Available now at Shoppers Drug Mart stores across Canada and lancome.ca, and at Lancôme counters across Canada as of August 6th.
