Loving the OPI colors! I especially love matte finishes. I find it CRIMINAL when I see iridescent (sp?) shine or a pearlized finish–scary! I’m digging short, square matte nails in really bright, citrusy colors. I’ve been interviewing a lot of female celebs lately and they are all working yellows, oranges, cherry reds and they are all short and matte. I love the Navy OPI featured–hard to find a good navy varnish and I am curious about the green color. L. Park After Dark is always a winner though I’ve never seen it matte. I’m normally an Essie girl. I think it is just as good of a brand but a couple bucks cheaper—but OPI is an excellent polish. Really jealous of whomever wins! Maybe it’ll be moi!

I love the look of bright/dark polish on others… but I don’t love it on myself and only wear it once in a blue moon (ha!). These mattes might be the solution – possibly they’re less in your face than shiny brights?
