Today is the most depressing day of the year, no? As the final day in August, it’s the unofficial Last Day of Summer. And I think we can all—at least all of us Ontarians—say that this summer was the summer that never was, weather-wise. Pink Zimmerman bikini, I hardly knew ye.
But let’s get ourselves in a better frame of mind. There are new fall boots and coats—and oh yes, makeup!—to contemplate. One collection that’s getting me in an autumn sort of mood is this new, paraben-free one from Lise Watier. (Throw tartan on anything and I’m happy, okay?)
Besides the limited-edition Quatuor Eyeshadow Quartet ($34, pictured above), here’s what it includes:

OOh I’ve been eyeing this quad for a while. Might have to finally cave in and buy!
To be honest, I’ve never tried Lise Watier products and thought it was a line for older ladies…that said, I have seen the displays at Shopper’s and the products do look great!
I think LW is one of the great underrated beauty lines. Yes, their image needs a bit of an update (like H20+!) but I think the products are really good quality for the price. Their makeup, that is… skincare is another story (I’m not a big fan of what I’ve tried so far).
Hi Michelle
I caved in and got the Limited Edition palette — it’s gorgeous!
Cool – you will have to post a picture to show off the results! I am really warming to that green colour – haven’t posted about it yet but YSL has a chartreuse in their fall palette and it’s surprisingly pretty. I think the key is lining with the dark grey shadow.
