The other day, I wrote about how there’s usually a Nail Colour of the Moment that defines each fall season (hint: this year, it’s grey). Well, hold that thought because it has another application: skincare.
No, I don’t mean it’s suddenly de rigeur to have a grey pallor—I mean that skincare (specifically anti-aging skincare) goes through trends too. It’s just a bit slower than makeup.
For as long as I can remember, the focus has been on wrinkles as enemy number one. And that hasn’t changed. But a couple of years ago, there was the whole even skin tone thing (a trend that first came about with Olay’s Definity line, and continues to this day).
And now, the issue that needs fixing is sagging. Listen up, because here are the key words you’ll be seeing on skincare products this fall and beyond: LIFT, PLUMP, FIRM, SCULPT, REBUILD.
After the jump, details on the latest lifting lotions and potions.
