If you keep tabs on New York’s socialites (or “socials” for short), you may have heard of Olivia Chantecaille. She’s the creative director (and face) of cosmetics brand Chantecaille, which was founded by her mother Sylvie over a decade ago.
A former Estée Lauder executive who was reportedly the brains behind Prescriptives, Sylvie created the Chantecaille line in the late 1990s with the goal of fusing the latest in cosmetics technology with the purest botanical ingredients. And now, it’s her daughter Olivia who helps keep the brand relevant by playing spokesmodel.
FINALLY though—you can get it now at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver and Toronto (Bloor St.). Hurray!
I’ve only ever tried their lipsticks, but the line includes a full range of makeup, skincare and fragrance. I can’t wait to check out the much-raved-about Future Skin, a lightweight, oil-free and vegan foundation with light-reflecting pigments and buildable coverage, as well as the tropical Frangipane Perfume.
