Remember when spring makeup meant shades of pale pink and lavender? Not anymore. I’ve got the inside scoop on Lancôme’s spring makeup collection—called Ô My Rose and available in February—and it’s a gorgeously dark palette. From what I gather, artistic director Aaron de Mey is trying to do away with the notion that we can’t wear dark colours in warmer weather. He was also inspired by the energy, style and femininity of the 1960s. Here’s what the collection will include:
Pop’n'Cheeks Blush in Coral Flirt, $38
Pop’n'Palette Eye Colour Quartet in Pop’n'Petrol, $54
Pop’n'Palette Eye Colour Quartet in Pop’n'Copper, $54
Le Khôl Gloss High-Shine Eye Pencil in Pop Petrol, $31 (also available in B.B. Sand)
BaBy Kiss lip colour in Coral Madraque, $35
Le Vernis Colour and Shine Nail Polish in Pop Petrol, $21
Le Vernis Colour and Shine Nail Polish in B.B. Sand, $21
Plus:
- Ink Artliner in Pop Petrol, $38
- Le Khôl Gloss in Pop Petrol and B.B. Sand, $31.50
- Flash Retouche in Universal Light, $35
- Le Crayon Khôl in Pop Petrol, $27
- La Laque Fever in Coral Bliss and Swinging Copper, $32
- Hypnôse Drama in Pop Petrol, $30
All products will be limited edition and available at Lancome.ca, department stores and selected pharmacies across Canada in February 2010.
