Out now: Zoya Reverie Collection

Zoya, Zoya nail polish, Zoya Reverie, Zoya metallics

There was a time when I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing metallic nail polish. But here we are. Yes, folks, it’s a trend—perhaps the chip-prone matte finishes didn’t go over all that well with customers. Zoya‘s newest collection, called Reverie, features six new shades, ranging from the requisite silver (Laney) to a futuristic violet (Adina). And as you may know, I love Zoya for leaving out yucky chemicals like toluene, DBP and formaldehyde.

Available this month at select spas and salons across Canada, see here for locations.

I’m the same sort of nail snob… never metallic, glitter or even shiny. Before matte varnishes came out, it was either a natural buff or nothing at all. Then matte’s came around (and muted colours), which I love, but, you’re right, very chip prone.

Am intrigued by colour on far right above, though…

I know, I surprised myself by kind of…liking these. Maybe for my toes – I’m more adventurous there!

I would do the silver on fingers – love it for punching up an LBD :)
