The man behind the look? New York-based celebrity hair guru Ted Gibson (who is apparently now on What Not To Wear…how did I miss that?). It took him 20 hours to sew these puppies in—ouch!

I know it’s extensions, obviously, but it LOOKS like extensions. Not flattering. Maybe it’s just a bad picture but something about the way her hair is laying around her face looks almsot like a bad wig. It’s just completely not working for me. Though she looks very fresh faced and happy
I know, but I still think just about anything is better than those crazy spikes at the back of her head! It would probably look nicer if they trimmed the extensions into a bob or even a more stylish short cut. I’m sure they kept it long for drama and PR buzz it would generate.
