Here’s a product I can’t wait to test drive: Benefit’s Stay Don’t Stray Stay-Put Primer for Concealers and Eyeshadows is meant to go all around the eyes to help your eyeshadow AND concealer last longer.
Clever, no? Because while I’ve used eyeshadow primers, I’m not in the habit of using all-over-the-face primers on a daily basis. So this is a great spot treatment product for that zone. (It’s also a fantastic option for anyone with lids that don’t have a crease—think Chanel Iman—meaning their shadow tends to migrate north after a few hours.)
What you do is apply three tiny dots on your lids, then three more under the eyes. Blend, then apply your concealer and shadow as usual. If you’re fair skinned, you might be able to get away without concealer as this has a nice tint and creamy, blendable texture.
One gripe: it’s a small bottle, so you don’t get a ton of product. And the pump tends to squirt out a generous amount, so be careful!
Available in February at Sephora stores across Canada. (Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Boutiques, Murale and select Holt Renfrew locations will carry it in March.)
