Okay, so they’re only temporary (let’s not even TALK about the subsect that’s so Chanel-obsessed that they get the interlocking C’s in permanent ink). But these tatts are surely a step up from the ubiquitous dolphins, butterflies and yin-yang symbols—no?
First seen at the Chanel spring ’10 show, the brand is now launching a limited-edition set of 55 transfer tattoos—featuring lace, chains, birds and rosary beads—in March.
Since I’m firmly in the anti-tattoo camp (I don’t even have my ears pierced, let alone body art!), this is one beauty trend I’ll be sitting out. (Plus, at £49 $75 for the set, they’re not cheap—I’d rather put that money in the piggy bank to save up for a 2.55.)
What do you think?
UPDATE: Well, what do you know—Chanel sent me some! Very pretty, actually. In Canada, they’ll be $75 and available starting March 15th at select Chanel boutiques across Canada.

I think transfer tattoos are a bit stupid… And there’s NO WAY I’m paying that much for them, lol
But… I just have to mention this girl:
