I’ve always been a fan of Chloë Sevigny—but her Golden Globes hair and makeup? Dreadful. And don’t think I’m saying that because Chloe’s not classically beautiful. I’ve always admired her quirky look and how she embraces her unconventional beauty. (She could have tweaked her nose or other facial features by now, but so far seems to have shunned the Hollywood predilection for plastic surgery.)
No, the reason I don’t like this is simple: it makes her look OLD. Individually, the pulled-back hair, heavy brown eyeshadow, contoured cheeks, red lips and jumbo earrings could have worked. But all together? No.
