Just catching up on comments here. Sounds like taupe is a big hit…awesome!

Did I mix up the OPI bottles in my image, Beautywoome? Oops! Anyway, glad to hear you’re liking the Jacques one. Interested to hear how you do with the matte… I’m a bit afraid of the chipping action.

Confession – I saw this post yesterday and went to my local Trade Secrets to pickup a taupe n/p! I picked up Chinchilly and am in luuuuurve! I had so many compliments on my nails today at work! Thanks for the trend tip

Totally have to agree that this trend actually looks great on nails. It is subdued but funky, actually very flattering to all skin tones (even those with ruddy undertones) and seems to look nice with whatever I’m wearing.

I have You Don’t Know Jacques (which is pictured above, I think) and adore it. Have bought a matte finisher from Essie and am going to have a go at it in a matte style as well.

Again, love the mixed pages so keep that glossy-but-online look up! xx

I too love this colour trend.But unlike last season’s short nails, taupe looks
better on slightly longer nails.Love the colour!
