If you have dark hair I'd be a little concerned that this product might make you grey. It's quite powdery and can be difficult to control the "sprinkling" of the application... unless you're very careful to only apply to the under-sections of your hair. Maybe go for a spray product. I don't find them quite as oil-absorbing but they're also not as bad with turning your hair a different colour. Everyone raves about Klorane and Batiste - both are pretty inexpensive. You might also consider Bumble + Bumble's tinted hair powder. Bumble + Bumble's? The tint factor kind of freaked me out—I didn't like touching my hair and having the blonde/brown tint rub off on my fingers. So I'd rather deal with grey-looking roots.
