All the products contain actual peony extracts (which are supposed to have skin-softening benefits); they’ve also limited synthetic pigments and silicones to 2 and 5 percent respectively.
However, what I really think is the standout in the collection is something called Peony Tinted Water, which I didn’t get to try but appears to be a natural lip and cheek stain.
Otherwise, I think this line would be great for someone who wants pure products and is into a natural look (nothing is highly pigmented here, so it’s not for your advanced makeup junkie). Oh, and it’s a bit pricey—everything is between $20 and $36.
