My review of Zerona: A Q&A with Dr. Stephen Mulholland of SpaMedica in Toronto

Dr. Stephen Mulholland of SpaMedica in Toronto

UPDATE: I’ve concluded that this procedure does not work—my feeling is that any weight loss that people experience comes from the supplement, Curva (NOT the Zerona sessions themselves). To read the full series of posts on my experience, see these posts: the pre-treatment measurements and photos, my first two sessions, the mid-treatment measurements, post-treatment measurements and then final measurements. I then started a second round of (six) treatments, but once again did not experience any changes. I believe that LipoSonix sounds more promising.

Like I mentioned on Friday, I’m trying out Zerona—a fat-burning laser—at Toronto’s SpaMedica.

You guys probably have a lot of questions. In my circles, I’m finding that they fall in one of two camps: either “You’re going to strip down to a paper thong and let a laser blast away your fat—say what?” or “Tell me everything and sign me up immediately!”

So assuming you’re in the latter group, I thought I’d share with you a Q&A I did with Dr. Stephen Mulholland, a cosmetic plastic surgeon and owner of SpaMedica. (If his name sounds familiar, you might have seen him on CityLine.)

Now Dr. Mulholland doesn’t actually DO the treatments himself—they’re done by a trained medical esthetician—but as the owner of the clinic and one of the country’s leading experts, he’s DEFINITELY in the know about the latest devices for body shaping.

Here’s the lowdown on what Zerona does and why he’s introduced it to his patients:

Why did you decide to introduce Zerona in your practice? There are so many men and women who have tried every diet with limited success that it was inevitable that fat reduction technologies would be developed. First came the focal reduction technologies, or spot treatments. But Zerona causes a uniform fat loss over the full area being treated, just like in fat loss through dieting. Over 90 percent of people get a response and we can guarantee a loss of 3-9 inches. That means every woman can come down a dress size.

ZeronaLaser My review of Zerona: A Q&A with Dr. Stephen Mulholland of SpaMedica in TorontoHow long has it been available in Canada? Zerona was launched in the US in June of 2009 and in Canada in December of 2009. Great feedback so far!

How does the treatment work? The cold laser beam that passes over the body has a 635 nm wavelength and proprietary pulse that creates a microscopic hole in the fat cell membrane. The triglyceride (fat) leaks out and is safely processed by the lymph and digestive systems. It’s whisked out of the body. Tens of millions of cells do this—thus the loss of inches.

What makes Zerona different from previous fat-dissolving treatments? There’s no pain or discomfort of any kind, no downtime, it’s generalized vs. a spot treatment—and it’s guaranteed.

Who is a good candidate for Zerona? Most people will lose inches with Zerona, but I think the people who are going to be the happiest are those who carry that extra 10 or 15 pounds that they just can’t seem to lose—that extra dress size. It’s also best for someone who makes good lifestyle choices—it’s up to you to keep the fat off post-Zerona.

Who should NOT have the procedure? Zerona isn’t right for someone who is pregnant, who has light sensitivity problems or who has unrealistic expectations.

Where are the ideal treatment areas? Will some areas of the body have better results than others? Zerona can be used from neck to knees. It works best in areas that have what I would call “wiggly” fat.

Patients need to have six treatments within two weeks—why does it need to be so often? It takes six treatments scheduled close together for Zerona to effectively open the pores. If you leave it longer than 48 hours between [sessions], the pores can close.

Are there any side effects? No, just disappointment if the patient’s expectations are unrealistic.

What results can most people expect and how quickly are they visible? You can expect [to lose] 3 to 9 inches over multiple areas that will very visible within the two weeks, but optimized in one month. It’s up to you to maintain the lifestyle that will keep the fat from returning. One of the very good things about Zerona is that fat cells are not damaged or removed—it’s a very gentle process. And yes, you can repeat it.

Stay tuned for my next post in this series—all about the pre-treatment photos, measurements… and paper panties I had to wear (no, I’m not joking). In the meantime, let me know if you’ve got a question I didn’t answer yet!

UPDATE: I almost forgot to let you know the pricing. Zerona is sold in a package of six sessions along with a niacin supplement called Curva (which helps the fat flush out more effectively) for $2,999.

Dear Dr. Mulholland, I am overweight in my stomach area and due to polio and post-polio I am very limited to the type of exercise I can do. I was warned years ago by West Park Post-Polio clinic to only do aqua fit classes as other physical exercise would wear me down too much. I go to aqua fit lessons for a 45 minute lesson once a week but I can’t get my weight down. I’ve been to weight watchers and always stayed the same weight as everyone else stepped up their exercise regime and I couldn’t do that. I saw a demonstration on city tv about Zerona laser treatments and I was intrigued. Could you advise me how much these procedures would cost? Are there any possibilities of getting a much reduced fee or even pro-bono rates? I only receive about $700+ a month through CPP disability and have no savings only a small amount of credit on a credit card. If you are unable to give reduced fees maybe you could recommend me to someone else. Thankyou for taking the time to read this and forgive me for having the gall to even ask you. Sincerely, Sharon Weber – age 63 (5 ft. tall and 168 lbs.)
PS I am permanently on crutches and use a scooter if I have to walk any further than 3 grocery aisles. You can also reach me at H: 416-245-1657 & C: 416-882-6736

It’s not going to give you results that are that dramatic! In fact if you read the rest of this series I didn’t get any results – period. I can’t recommend it.

I was wondering about the excess flabby skin also. After the treatment is the patient sent home wearing a support garment? Also, does the patient go home with excercises that will help them from the fat returning to that particular spot. I wrote earlier about fat trapped between c sections and a scar from back surgery which is from the belly button down to an inch before the c section line scar.

No excess flabby skin (see above), no support garment and no exercises given. I now believe that any weight you lose is due to the Curva supplement (which I didn’t take). I wouldn’t recommend this.

You are totally wrong. The curva cannot do any of this. I know for certain
that 6 sessions is far not enough for good results. You need actually 12 sessions
to get really good results.
Let me tell you what should be done. You must wear Spanx and do a little cardio after the session. You will have good results if you follow this.

How about 24 sessions? I did two rounds. Cardio + Spanx were not part of the instructions patients were given at this clinic (although yes I’ve heard that compression clothing can produce a temporarily “tighter” appearance).

You should try Ultra Shape. It is an excellent body contouring machine and provides a skin tightening treatment immediately following the body contouring treatment. It is ultra sound and destroys fat cells for good After the ultra sound treatment, there is a 20 min skin tightening treatment that helps smooth out cellulite and tightening the skin in the area treated. I had three treatments, which are receommended and lost 8 cm in my stomach, no pain, but you feel the treatment doing something for days after. I had it done in Toronto at a Plastic Surgeons office as well.

Hi,

I did 12 sessions of Zerona and lost 13 inches. I had to drink 2 litters of water per day and wear the spanx. Its a pain iink in the ass but it was worth the results. I paid around $2000 and I think it was worth the money.

I was so intrigued by this method when I saw it on the Dr.Oz show. But after reading the reviews and considered the costs of the procedures I have come to the conclusion that this procedure was not designed with health concerns in mind or else it would be made available to those of us who really need it but can’t afford the outrageous rates which reflect the market focus of image rather than health and those that can afford to pay for an image defect.
If it’s too good to be true .. it usually is. If it is proven to be as effective as they claim then it should be at least partially covered by OHIP. When that happens I will consider it.

I purchased 6 sessions on Groupon. I have just completed all sessions, followed all instructions such as taking the supplements (I actually take more of the Niacin and fish oil than they require) and wearing the compression belt. I already follow a low-fat diet, drink loads of water and fast-walk about an hour per day. I haven’t lost a single inch. I am going back for my final measurements and pictures tomorrow. It will be interesting to hear their take on this. What is the guarantee? I am sure they will want me to purchase more sessions or join their weight loss center. By the way, I am very small framed and only about 3-4 inches over what I should be in th stomach area- however, I just can’t seem to lose it. All other body areas are within norm. WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED WHAT HAPPENS AT MEASUREMENT.

Hi Valerie,

First you should not do any diet during the procedure.
It is rare not to lose a single inch.
6 session is just the time for the prcedure to start working so if you do less than
12 session do not expect any good results.

I can tell you that according to my experience with the clinic I was doing it, they would refund you all the payment in case of no results at all.

Just did my first treatment. I bought a wag jag package of 3. I’m thinking I would have been better off saving my money. I would probably buy it if I had money to burn too but the price of a package of 9 or 12 (upwards of $1000) is completely not worth it if you’re going to stress about the cost. I’ll see how I do on three but my guess is very minimal loss. Save your money girls. You know how to lose weight.. just do it.

Well, went for my measurements and Viola! I lost a few inches in my knees and arms – places that I did not get the treatment. I received treatment in abdomen area. No luck there. The guarantee is very tricky – they used the loss in the non-Zerona areas as assurance that it worked. You know the old adage? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. WHAT A SCAM!!!!!

I went and spent 4500.00 and didnt see the results in the area that i was looking at either. I explained to them that i had a back injury and advanced arthritis in both knees prior to starting and i am not able to do alot of exercise, but what i wanted is for my mid section to go down some. i didnt want a six pack.Well needless to say i supposedly lost 20 some odd inches overall (only area worked on was back sides and stomack) but not in the area that i wanted and ended up with more back pain because where it did go down was in my back which made my stomach appear more noticable and also didnt loose any weight!! where did that 20 inches go then? And when i said I wasnt happy they said i needed more treatments which would cost me half price. for that price i paid already and $5000 more I could of had a tummy tuck and lipo suction and i would of notices a difference permanently .Ps with in a month or two the inches were all back so it is not a perm. thing.

I know what you are talking about. Same thing happened with my wife. She went there HOPING to lose inches in the lower abdomen but it did not happen. Results showed loss in elbows and 1 knee…funny part was, they did not even feel embarrassed over this claiming that inches were lost as promised. WHAT A JOKE that is!!! I measured myself and their measurements did not coincide with mine at all!!! I would like that measurements be done by a 3rd party, not by people working for Zerona as it is very easy to pull that tape a little tighter the second time around…Agree???

I am a 63 year old female who lost 43 lbs, reshaped and toned my body using the hcG protocol and exercise. At 5’3″, I was once 163 lbs and a size 12/14. Today I am 120 lbs, a size 4 and have kept it off for over 2 years. I do not believe in the latest internet craze using self treatment protocols. I suggest you find a good naturopath (ND) or an MD doctor who practices alternative or complimentary medicine in your area… one who uses real hcG injections or homeopathic protocols. Then you MUST change your lifestyle and dietary choices. Conventional medicine does not support this protocol. Sorry, but most conventional doctors are FDA puppets… This protocol doesn’t put a lot of money in their pockets because it is natural and not a pharmaceutical.

Anyway… I haven’t looked this good in 20 years. (I was actually hit on by a 44 year old man who wanted to connect… lol) Furthermore, I’ve NEVER felt better or had more energy in my life. I struggled for almost 20 years with my weight. The hcG protocol has been established for over 50 years and is not only safe, it is effective. THEN, if you wish to tweek your body and/or skin with laser treatments, I say GO FOR IT

Joan G., I bought some Hcg and I am afraid to use it. I read on some sites that it can cause heart problems and some women lost their hair. Have you heard this?

Maybe I should go see a naturopath instead of buying the Hcg online?

I agree with most who say Zerona is not worth it and to save your money. After 10 treatments, questionable measurements indicated some loss in elbows and 1 knee but minimal where it was needed!!! We were not there for elbows and knees!!! Furthermore, the measurements were not done the same way before and after the treatments. Many promises but no results!!! We wasted our hard earned money!!!

you do not know what other people’s habits are. you have to follow a protocol to get the fatty contents processed. if your committed, you will get good results. I am finding doing at least 9-12 txs are needed.

people will have mixed results. I have had my laser for 2months, working on clinical trials. some follow the protocol and some do not. The ones that follow it, will get results, this will not be for everyone if your not willing to do the homework!

As I read these comments, It seems that most clinics charge different prices for these treatments and most people consider it a real rip off as the results in the majority of cases, ours included, is a far cry from what is promised. Their excuses vary from…”Well you did not take enough treatments” MORE MONEY!!! or “you did not do your homework”. The homework recommended can have the same results without those EXPENSIVE ZERONA TREATMENTS!!! Agree???

I had 12 treatments and lost 14 inches…and had great results. I went in a size 8, ok more like a 9 and finished a 6. It seems as though the people talking on this site are the same 3 or 4 people who did not get results, or maybe did not follow protocol and now are just angry.
I adjusted my diet, as per the clinic, as I like potato chips and pasta and bread…all the carbs…did the treatments, drank the water…did not take the niacin (i did not like the flush, the clinic said it was fine), and lost the unwanted fat I hated. I would advise anyone who wants to lose inches…but will follow proper protocol by their clinic…will get amazing results

To Bob, I read your comments and it seems that you are not the one that did Zerona but your wife. How do you know if she followed the correct protocol by the clinic she went? I know I did and lost 14 inches and went don about 3 sizes – I was a 9, as my clothes were getting tighter and knew I was going to go into a size 9/10 – my 7/8′s were to small but I did not want to acknowledge that. Now I am a size 6 – all due to Zerona. The Zerona was on special and paid $2999 for the 12 treatments – to which I would do again, as I could not lose it by exercise or diet alone.

I was just looking over this site as I am looking to get some treatments. I went in for a consult 2 days ago and am a size 11/12…I am so happy to hear that there are good reviews as I was skeptical. It seems from the posts that if you follow the protocol you will get results. I think that we all have extra fat from what we eat so it only makes sense that we have to change something in order for Zerona to work. I love chocolate and know I have to stop eating it. I have friends that have done liposuction and the fat has come back (obviously did not change the way they eat)! I presume that one must change their lifestyle habits to keep it off, that makes sense. I am now excited to get Zerona, as I have tried so many diets and nothing seems to work.

I also had GREAT results! I was a little heavier, 180 lbs, when starting the treatments – I did 38 treatments over 3 months. It was hard to stick to a perfect diet but I did my best, as I did not want my money to go to waste. I drank the water and did the walking per day. I was on a diet before I purchased the Zerona treatments but was having no luck – the most I lost was 10lbs (over a six month period) – so I thought I would give it a try. I lost 20lbs! I dropped from a size 17 to 12! My skin was also tighter in my stomach area where I was having the Zerona done. I think this the most incredible device. I am a little older and have a touch of arthritis therefore I cannot do a lot of exercise. I would recommend Zerona to anyone who is looking fat loss, especially when diets have failed.

Hi Bob, as a woman I can tell you that we don’t tell our husbands everything. I am sure that if your wife was eating fatty foods while doing the treatments you would not know…but that is besides the point. Obviously she did not get the results she was looking for…how many treatments did she have? how many treatments did she have? how many inches was she looking to lose? I did 12 and did extremly well – I have never been happier. I am sorry that your wife didn’t but I know I did everything I could by following what the clinic told me and got results! You shouldn’t be so angry – maybe it just didn’t work well for her – others might find it works amazing for them…I am one!

Bob, I don’t think it is very nice of you to call me obese – maybe I was when I went in, but I feel a lot better about myself now. I came on this site to write a review not be insulted. I did spend a lot of money, and well worth it. As well, I had to take the 38 treatment package as I was a little heavier, 12 treatments would not have been enough for me to have reached my goals. To anyone who is heavier and looking for fat loss, I definitely recommend Zerona.

Bob,

It looks to me that you are obsessive about the Zerona considering the time you are spending on this forum….
Let me tell you something, when I was at the clinic doing my treatment, I met many other clients there. I wont say they were all getting the best results as me, but most of them seemed to me quite happy. The key is the consultation – they have to verify that you are good candidate and secondly is your expectations – if you are 300 lbs and you think you will be slim and light, you shouldn’t do this treatment. I can only say that according to my experience and other people I was meeting, the Zerona is a good option. I can tell you that before I started the Zerona I tried Velashape…..and some other procedures…non was doing anything helpful for me. I talked to other clients who tried everything including Liposonix and even surgery, and got nothing or close to it. With the Zerona most of them were happy. I don’t say that all were happy because by the end you consider the investment and it is not cheap, but in my case it was well worth it and I am very happy with my results.

Just a reply to Bob…you must have had a bad experience…as you seem to be so angry for your wife’s sake – I am just curious how many inches was she looking to lose? How many treatments did she get? From my experience, if she is medium size and is looking to lose 2 or 3 dress sizes she would need 12 or 18…if she is a heavier build 24 or 38. If she did anything less than 12 – like 3, 6 or 9 – you cannot expect to much. Did the clinic you went to offer you different packages…6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 38?

To All,
I did follow it as i too didnt want to see my$4500.00 I was spending go to waste, so i did follow it to a “T” .When I started I told then that I have back pain because of a accident and they told me that with my back pain the zerona would help make it feel better. At one point I told then that because i was loosing inches in my back and not the front (which I went there for in the first plase) was worse then before i started they said nothing and changed the area the last 5 sessions of where they were targeting more on the front stomach. When all sessions were done they said i lost about 20 inches *over all* (what does that mean?)And if I lost 20 inches over all of fat should my cloths have not fit different and the scale said different if the fat was excreted from the body? Zerona Please explain to me how this works!! I did 3 months . There should of been some change in the way my cloths were fittng !!.Not one of my family or friends ever said “Mary jane. You look great did you loose weight?” What is the guarentee?I’m jsut not happy that they didnt do what they sid they would do and stand behind what they offer :(

One thing I do not understand – why do you repeat yourself again and again every 2 days?
If you really like to have answers from Zerona why dont you send them a messege through their website rather repeating your trouble here?

the whole idea of a “review” on a product is to tell your personal experience and if you would recommend it!! Some will have good experiences and others not!! People reading this will have to choose on there own.
“Lance: a owner of a Zerona did respond earlier but basically said , you didnt get what you expected then because you didnt follow protocal or you didnt have enough sessions, it’s not the product that did not work. What happen to the customer is always right in some cases.
I did say something and have not heard back from them.! so It doesnt pay to make the call.

I had treatments of Zerona for three days a week for three weeks. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with my results. I did not take Curva but I did eliminate fats from my diet and I added more exercise to my days while on treatment. This is a wonderful way to drop inches if you have plenty of money to continue this treatment. Within one month I regained all the inches that were lost. I was sick over the loss of my time and money. Unless you are loaded with cash or better yet have a money tree in your back yard, stay away from this. This is a serious and very costly lesson learned. Trust me, don’t do Zerona!

You forget that this program is a jump start not a quick fix as many wrongly assume. Actually you did not do what you had to do according to the protocol. You did not take the curva pills which is very important, you had diet and exercise which is not mentioned in the program. You suppose to do just very little cardio. basically maintain healthy lifestyle.
I can say that I am keeping my results for about 2 months and actually I am getting better every day as I maintain healthy lifestyle.

I work in a cosmetic surgeons office in New Orleans and when the Dr. first introduced this laser I was very skeptical about it. I didn’t want to try this until I saw actual results . I saw results from many of our patients . Some however had less of a result than others as this procedures result varies for each individual. SBMI guarantees 3 and a half inches from hips waist and thighs and if you don’t reach that guarantee then more treatments are offered in order for you to get the inches lost. We on average have seen about 4 to 5 inches in six treatments. The most I have seen is about 10″ in six treatments . I have recently done this treatment and still have results . This isn’t a quick fix and if you just sit around and overeat it will not work . Plus I didn’t take the Curva or any vitamins and it worked .

Hi folks -

I’ve been following the comments here and on other websites.

Rather than fight with one another – why not accept that perhaps there is some scientific reason that it works really well for some, and not at all for others?

We don’t all have the same metabolisms. Or genetic code. And not all people have issues with fat for the same reason.

Wouldn’t it make sense that there be some dependency on how your body responds to the treatment?

I’m sure there are some cases of providers not doing their jobs, recipients not doing theirs – and some influence of ‘perception’ (It worked, it didn’t – it is all perception).

But truthfully – I think people are sincere in their sharing of experiences on this. Wouldn’t it be more interesting if someone actually did a study to sort out what was different in the cases that worked, from those that didn’t? Perhaps it isn’t just following protocol – maybe there is something different in their systems …..

Hi Dawn,
I think everyone does understand tha everybody is different and some follow to a “T” and others not so much. but I think the real issue is that when the Zerona Clinic that I attended was told that I wasn’t happy they said nothing. There was no follow up, no one checked in to the matter, no extra sessions offered or refund of any kind they didnt even offer to go over with you what could of been the problem. and they guarenteed this inch loss. They told me there was 22 in loss over all but I had no weight loss . If that is the fact that the inches were melted away and are removed from the body then there should of been some kind of weight loss. We just felt like we should warn people because it is alot of money for very little results and no guarentee. It is like a buyers beware kind of think.
I do agree thou that they sould do something to see why it has worked on some and not on others.

So whatever people are saying some are saying it works others are saying it outright doesn’t work, but here is the bottom line does OHIP cover it, a simple yes or no answer people, not everything in between YES or NO ?

Reply

Tim and all Others, NO OHIP doesn’t cover it. Zerona doesn’t work period! If you are one that loss weight and inches and followed it to a “T”, YOU still would have lost without the Red Lights, sorry, “lasers” If you were one that followed it to a “T” and had no loss, you need more exercise and or more of an intense exercise program and better diet. That is the bottom line truth of it all. Folks, Zerona can not claim it works when they ask you to diet and exersice, increase water intake and take curva. That alone will make most people lose weight. I did over 12 sessions, I only wanted to go down one pant size. For $3500, I didn’t think one pant size was asking too much. I followed the treatment, not to a “T” but damn close. I lost over 8 inches they said, but my clothes are the same, no difference at all. I had four pairs of jeans that I knew I was going to test when I was done, all fit or didn’t fit just as before. Good news is, I did become a big water buff and I only drink that now, I did join a gym and have now lost almost 8 pounds and I’m about a week or close to being down one size. I hate working out, but it is paying off. For $3500 I didn’t feel good about myself wasting that money I had to do something for myself, I hate being ripped off. I also feel that Dr.Oz should do a one hour show on Zerona and the truth about it not working. He got paid big money for backing Zerona and I fell for the scam because of his show. Won’t be watching that anymore.

Oh, I am writing to the Dr.Oz site as well. For him to cash in on the “false hope of yet another easy weight loss gimic” is so dissapointing. For those that work for or with Zerona, stop saying it works, read your Ad’s. You tell people they will lose inches, but you dont’ tell them where do you? You tell them no extra dieting, but watch what you eat. No workouts but exercise. Then they have you sign a chart each session saying that you didn’t drink, no caffine, took your curva, had a good diet and did cardio. Wait, when we signed up it said, no dieting, no workouts and lose inches. I lost in my neck? I lost in my knees? OMG, what a joke. But they got to keep their money as thier measurments said I lost even though the lasers were no where near those areas. Funny thing too, when you ask them to put the lasers on the area you want, they tell you they can’t, it doesn’t work that way. Maybe they should have them pointed to the neck and knee area and my hip area would have lost? Read what they say in their Ads, bring that with you when you talk to them and have them answer the questions posed on this site list and the many other list that tell you not to waste your money and why, and then have them sign it. Have them sign saying you will lose in the target areas you are wanting to lose in. They won’t……Point made!!!

Oh Tracy…you have had the same experience as my wife!!! She lost inches on elbows and one knee!!! So they said…Those measurements are a far cry from being real as you and my wife would both be deformed if they were true. They seem to think we are all stupid and unless we unite and take Zerona to court, they will keep ripping people off!!!

Hi, my primary care doctor here in the US recommended Zerona to me today. I am 240# (ideal weight ~180#), and we have been through a number of weight loss strategies over the past two years without any lasting results. I follow a healthy diet (1200-1500 cal/day) but mild exercise (30-60 minutes a week) due to work schedule and frequent travel. I’m trying to decide if this treatment is worth a shot.

Why is progress measured in inches instead of pounds? If I understand the process correctly, the fat cells are shrinking, just like they would if I exercised religiously and had a lower calorie diet. Shouldn’t the laser treatment cause weight loss?

For the folks here who had positive experiences, did you lose weight or did it just shrink the size of a problem area? Thanks!

Wow what a mixed set of reviews. At least I will only be out $100.00 for 5 sessions if this doesn’t work. I just bought the deal on living social here in South Florida. 5 sessions for $99 bucks. I would have never bought it for what you guys and gals paid. My consult isn’t until May 14th. They have sold almost 800 of this deal just in the 24hr period it was posted. What happens after you loose the inches? Do you have to diet to keep it off? They say it is up to you weather it stays off or not. what exactly does that mean? How long do the results last. If you do not change your diet and exercise does it stay off.

I think that consumers on the most part are influenced a great deal by marketing and unfortunately Zerona has great marketing.
The unsuspected consumer who does not do their homework or read Zerona’s marketing: Lose on Average 3.64 inches in waist, hips, and thigh circumference combined in 2 weeks – key work COMBINED – and does not realize that the area to which he / she has gone in with to lose (ie. abdominal) is not going to be a significant inch loss in.
This is a loss to the consumer as far as I am concerned. If I went to go and purchase sessions from Zerona and I was looking for reducton in my abdominal area – I would not care if I lost .25 in all other areas they measure – and end up with a possible inch off my abdominal – not worth the price! In fact I think its a rip off!

i had 15 zerona treatments with massage after each treatment to stimulate my lymphatic system to melt the fat. it costs me $2700.00. The results were minimal to none. if you have had cellulite for a long time–don’t waste your money. it won’t break it up==it is too tough. the dieting and the exercise was most likely the cause for my 4-6lb weight lost. save your money buy an exercise machine and use it daily. the time it takes to get to the zerona clinic do the treatment and drive home-you could have exercised 1 hour and saved 1 hour for something enjoyable.
