They call her The Poor Man’s Angelina Jolie. And for good reason, don’t you think? If you look at Exhibit A—the pic on the left, above—there’s just something slightly trashy about Megan Fox‘s look, even though there’s no arguing the fact that she’s incredibly beautiful.
What IS it about her, anyway? Mostly I think it’s the red carpet come-hither expressions and Angelina-esque tattoos… but we can’t discount the importance of beauty. And in her case, the red lips paired with jet-black and dead-straight hair is a bit harsh, no?
That’s why I was both surprised and delighted to see Miss Fox in the June issue of Allure (above right and more here). Everything is soft, soft, soft and I’m now seriously jealous of that peaches and cream skin (and peach makeup, for that matter). You can’t really tell from this photo, but she’s also got the most adorable freckles. Who knew?
Maybe, just maybe, Megs is on her way to being a more serious actress. Doing your hair and makeup like this would be the way to do it, anyway. But tell me what YOU think:

I’d like to see her with lighter brows, slightly less defined. Have long wanted to see her in makeup like this. Softer, less porn-star.
You know what, I don’t mind the new brows – I think it’s because the SHAPE is less arched (and therefore less porn-star). Reminds me of Jennifer Connelly’s look.
I agree with you Michelle, the first thing I thought of was Jennifer Connelly’s brows! I don’t think I would have recognized her if I had seen this photo in Allure.
She is a beautiful girl either way. However, you can really appreciate that she is a natural beauty when you see her in makeup that is toned down!
I love her thick brows, how can I grow mine out like hers? and what are the most natural looking pencils or powder eyebrow fillers out there?

But re: growing them out – the best way is to do it under the guidance of a professional. They’ll probably get you to leave your brows alone for at least a month or two, and then you can start going in every 3-4 weeks for shaping until you arrive at the shape that will work best for you…. and then you can probably maintain at home. (Although I can never do as good of a job as they do, so I still go once a month.)
Try to go to someone who does threading or just uses tweezers, instead of waxing, as waxing pulls too much on the skin.
