In our Facebook/Twitpic era, is anything worse than seeing a photo of yourself where the shine off your T-zone is more blinding than the flash from the camera?
We’re in the prime season for it—no pun intended—now that temps are climbing and makeup just wants to melt right off.
The solution, of course, is all in the prep work: if shine is a problem for you, you’re going to need to layer on a primer or mattifier underneath your makeup.
Not only will it give the pigments something to grab on to—thereby helping them to last longer—but products that are specifically designed for oily complexions will also (you guessed it) help control the greasies.
