Rimmel London summer makeup collection 2010

It’s been a while since I tried anything from Rimmel London, but their summer collection ($4.99-$8.99, rimmellondon.com) reminded me that they have some really great stuff!

I’m particularly enthralled with the nail polish in Sunset Orange and Gold Silk, as well as their twin lipstick colours, Soft Coral and Bronze Goddess. The corals would look amazing on any skin tone, but the bronzes will pair best with a golden (faux) tan.

Loving the 3 in 1 Shimmering Bronzer (not pictured) as well—you can swirl a big brush in it for overall colour, or use a shadow brush (or your fingers) to apply the individual shades on your lids or on your cheeks as a highlighter.

Really love this collection—and the price is VERY right.

I find the Rimmel polishes have great staying power, was very impressed with them — my mani was chip-free for several days (not the norm for me)!

Good to know! I’m going to try that coral on my toes next time then.

Yep, I only have one of those Lasting Pro polishes in my large polish stash but it’s one of my favorites. I really need to pick up some more. The wide, flat brush was a little odd to get used to for me but it works well and the polish definitely wears well.

Oooh, I need that Gold Silk polish. I love Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro polish, especially because of the brush. And I’m also I fan of the Stay Glossy lip glosses but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else talk about them…I guess I’m off to the drugstore again, lol.
