firm bum no cellulite

So here’s the deal: any anti-cellulite product you find on store shelves is definitely not, under any circumstances, going to get rid of your cellulite. Sorry hon. I’m asked this question a lot and I know we’d all love it if a cream could make lumpy, jiggly flesh disappear… but it ain’t gonna happen. Think about it—if results were that dramatic, it would have to be labelled as a drug.

And yet what they DO do—some better than others—is temporarily tighten up the upper layer of your epidermis so that it might feel and look a teensy bit firmer and smoother for a few hours. And for lots of us, who need all the help we can get, that’s good enough!

There are, of course, other things you can do to attack cellulite. One of the best new sites I’ve discovered recently is The Cellulite Investigation, which is a must-read for anyone plagued by this problem. Melissa talks a lot about diet (you need to be eating the right kinds of fats, nothing hydrogenated or processed) and things like dry brushing apparently work wonders (though I always forget to do it before I hop in the shower). Honestly, her site is a goldmine of info.

While you’re working on those techniques, however, a little beauty booty never hurt anyone, right? So here are a few *temporary* smoothing, shaping, firming and tightening treatments that you might want to test drive for an extra confidence boost.
