Guys! I can’t remember a year when Christmas crept up on me like this. Anyone else feeling this way? I haven’t even STARTED my Christmas shopping, which is why my annual gift guide post(s) have been so tardy. (Apologies to you early birds out there!)

Adorbs! Benefit’s kits are getting better and better. This one has all you—oops, I mean SHE—will need (save foundation and concealer). It contains four shades of eyeshadow, a face powder, Girl Meets Pearl luminizer, Life on the A List lip gloss, BADgal mascara and a sponge applicator. $40; at Benefit counters.

Stila Daydream Palette

Isn’t she purty? But she’s not just nice to look at—there is some serious value in this 22-strong eyeshadow palette. Apparently that means it’s worth nearly $100. But you pay only a fraction of that. $24; at TheShoppingChannel.com.

Cake Beauty Holiday Handful Hand Creme Trio

I may be over the dessert fragrance craze, but I still like my hand products to smell yummy. Cake makes some of the best, and this kit features two (the classic Milk Made, which is a vanilla-raspberry, plus Snow Woman, which is “sweet vanilla cream”). And then you get UnSweet—an unscented one for when you need a break from all that sugar. This would be perf for any female—we ALL need a steady hand cream supply here in Canada. $36; at eBeauty.ca.

Fruits & Passion Foaming Bath Forest

F&P comes out with a version of these every year, but I always dig ‘em—what person wouldn’t love scented bath gels packaged as a FOREST? That you can use as Christmas ornaments? I mean, COME ON. $19.95; at Fruits & Passion stores.

M.A.C Glitter and Ice Make It Perfect Brush Kit

Brushes are one of those beauty items that you might not buy for yourself—after all, they tend to take a back seat to the fun stuff like lipsticks and eyeshadow. But EVERYONE needs great brushes. M.A.C’s are some of the best, and this kit contains five travel-sized essentials (complete with sparkly handles!) in a cute makeup bag. $59.50; at M.A.C counters.

Avon Expert Mega Palette

One of the best things about the holidays is how makeup companies come out with these ridonkulous palettes with zillions of colours—and then charge you a bizzaro low price. This one has 36 eyeshadows, 36 lip glosses and six blushes—and the colours are totes flattering. $35; at Avon.ca.

SUPER by Dr. Nicholas Perricone Skin Nutrition Kit

Dr. Perricone is The Man when it comes to the connection between skincare and nutrition. I’ve interviewed him a couple of times and he’s brilliant. SUPER is his brand new line—Elizabeth raved about the serum here—and it’s perfect for any beauty junkies in your life… especially GREEN beauty junkies. Everything is formulated without parabens, propylene glycol, mineral oil, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, animal by-products or synthetic dyes. Who doesn’t love Fresh? Everything they make smells sooo good—including this scent, which was inspired by France’s champagne region. (HELLO!) StriVectin Ageless Skin Blockbuster Kit

This has “Mom” written all over it. Mine is particularly obsessed with StriVectin, so I think yours will love this anti-aging kit too. It includes the cult favourite Intensive Concentrate for Stretch Marks & Wrinkles in both regular and sensitive skin versions, as well as the eye cream, cleanser, neck cream and face serum. $114; at Sears.

Nip + Fab Holiday Body Pamper Kit

If you’ve got someone on your list who takes care of their bod, you can’t go wrong with this cult beauty line’s body-focused holiday kit. It features prodz to help firm, tone and smooth the legs, tummy and bust! $29.95; at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Urban Decay Holiday Nail Kit

UD’s popular Book of Shadows is always a great holiday purchase—for, say your beauty-conscious BFF or cousin—but this year, I’m really feeling this collection of six mini nail polishes. The packaging is gorgeous and the colours are totally on trend: moody, shimmery and perfect to get her through the rest of the winter. $28; at Sephora.

L’Occitane Handbag Essentials

Sorry for the teeny tiny pic! But wowza, what a great idea. There ARE certain things every gal needs in her handbag, and this trio—a solid perfume, lip gloss and hand cream—definitely hits the mark. I really, really love the solid perfume idea. This scent is Rose & Violet. $36; at L’Occitane stores.

The Body Shop Born Lippy Lip Balm Selection

If I had a pre-teen in my family, this is what I’d buy her. You get five fruity lip balms all packaged up like a giant lolly. Yum! $15; at The Body Shop stores.

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Peace on Earth Gift Set in Stress

Hopefully it’s not too much of a hint to buy this de-stressing relaxation kit for the Type A personality in your fam. I’ve long been a fan of B&BW’s aromatherapy line—this contains a body lotion, body wash, foam bath and oil burner to scent the room. The eucalyptus and spearmint scent really works! $49.50; at Bath & Body Works stores.
