Enough of these capsule fashion collections—finally, there’s a beauty one for us to look forward to! Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld is teaming up with Shu Uemura on a holiday makeup collection to go on sale in Canada in November. (Yes, we’re gonna get this one… unlike the makeup line he did for Sephora in Europe and Asia last fall.)
Karl (pictured above with the late Mr. Uemura) has long used the cosmetics in his illustrations: “I design with Shu Uemura because other manufacturers do not offer such beautiful colours.”
Hey—if they’re good enough for Karl, they’re good enough for me.
So far, all we know about this collection is that Karl’s in charge of the colours, packaging and even photography. Oh, and this is the logo:
What do you think about this collab?
Will you be hunting down the collection when it comes out?
Are you a fan of the Shu Uemura colours?

Ah, der Karl.
I don’t think I’ll buy the Shu Uemura products (all my make up is drugstore) but I’m definitely getting his fragrance ‘Paper Passion’ that comes out in August. It’s supposed to smell like books.

@Maggie – Oh wow, I never wanted to smell like books before but that will probably be amazing…
