Leaked! The deets on Lady Gaga’s first fragrance (sadly, it doesn’t smell like blood and semen)

Ever wanted to smell like an “expensive hooker”? Well, now you can! Thanks, Lady Gaga. That’s the vibe she was after with her first fragrance, called Fame, of which she posted a pic on her Twitter feed yesterday:

As you can see, it’s a “Black Fluid”—so the juice is indeed black—but it goes on clear when you spray it. Neat!

Oh, and speaking of “fluids,” there were whispers earlier that it was going to have notes of blood and semen (eeks!). But it looks like she—or probably Coty, who are manufacturing the stuff—dialled down the weirdness, although it was still formulated using a sample of Gaga’s own blood. Lovely.

Anyway, a sneaky Twitter pic (now deleted) from Canada’s very own FLARE EIC Lisa Tant prompted Gaga to release a second pic showing the back of the box:

It says: “Tears of Belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea, with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot, and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.”

Right… I still have no idea. Nor do I know when this will be out, but since Gaga will be on the cover of September Vogue, and has a new album out this fall, it’ll probably be around then.
