“I wanted to keep Kate’s look fresh and sophisticated to complement the old Hollywood glamour of her dress. This look was all about the eyes. I used a shimmering nude eye shadow across the lid, blended a darker beige into the crease to create definition [and] then topped it off with a black liner and a few coats of mascara. To really make the eye pop, I added a bit of highlighter under the brow and across the cheekbones.”—celebrity makeup artist Leslie Lopez.
