How-to: The “Skull Candy” look for Halloween

The look:

“Skull Candy.” (By Jasmine Ringo for Make Up For Ever.)

The how-to:

FACE

1. Apply Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in a shade that matches your skin tone to the forehead, hairline, temples, underneath the cheekbones low on cheeks and on the jaw line.

2. Trace a skull shape with Make Up For Ever Kohl Pencil in White and fill it in with Make Up For Ever Flash Color in White.

3. Blend the foundation toward the skull shape to create a smooth transition.

4. Further define the skull outline by shading the hairline, temples, eye sockets, and low cheeks with Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow #127.

5. Set skin with Make Up For Ever HD Powder and Make Up For Ever Star Powder #940.

6. Use Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip 8C to create the designs and lace effect. Outline the red line and lace designs with Make Up For Ever Aqua Black.

EYES

1. Shade the eye sockets and beneath the lower lash lines with Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow #17.

2. Apply Make Up For Ever Aqua Black across the lids and blend to the crease.

3. Use Make Up For Ever Aqua Black to define the waterlines and create a winged liner.

4. Finish with Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash and Make Up For Ever Faux Lash #156 on top and bottom.

LIPS

1. Define and fill in the lips with Make Up For Ever Aqua Rouge #8.

2. Create additional dimension by sculpting the corners of mouth with Make Up For Ever Aqua Black.
