How-to: The Galactic Glam mani at Nicole Miller S/S ’13

The look:

The inspiration:

The collection’s sci-fi, ’80s-inspired prints.

The how-to:

1. Apply a base coat.

2. Paint your nails with a mint green shade (here, a custom blend was used). Let dry.

3. Over the mint green, use a sponge to dab on CND Sapphire Sparkle Effect, CND Colour in Studio White and CND Colour in Cake Pop (a pink shade; available spring 2013). Let dry.

4. Use two coats of CND Colour in Blackjack around the edges to create a diamond shape on each nail.

5. Finish with top coat.
