Look of the day: Anne Hathaway’s slicked-back hair and flicky eyeliner

Why:

Because she’s finally doing something different with that hair! Worn slicked back—but with some volume, not tight to the head—her short crop is totally growing on me. This effortless, off-the-face style shows off her amazing eyes, and worn without that red lipstick she’s been favouring as of late, looks totally fresh and pretty. Speaking of makeup: I love this combo of a flushed cheek, barely-berry lip and a flick of eyeliner on the top lash line. My only quip would be that the flick needs a bit of refining, so that it’s more on the diagonal instead of looking like a “u.” But all in all, it’s so much better than this.
