The look:
Soft, almond-shaped nails with skinny black stripes.
The how-to:
1. File the nails into an elongated almond shape.
2. Apply a base coat.
3. Mix together Essie Nail Polish in Blanc (snowy white) and Mamba (shimmering café au lait), and then apply two coats.
4. Let dry for at least one hour.
5. Place two strips of tape vertically on each nail to section off the thin stripes.
6. Paint the stripes using Essie Nail Polish in Licorice (jet black cream).
7. Remove the tape and then seal with a top coat.
