I am SO NOT a morning person, it's not even funny. I firmly believe that no meetings should be held until the double-digits. (And frankly, there should be no talking at all before that hour... unless you're the person calling my name at Starbucks.) Whenever I have to spend time around hard-core morning people—perky, over-achieving Type-A personalities, all of them—I get very, very stressed. And my beauty routine? Well, pre-9 a.m. it all goes out the window.
This is why I'm grateful for inventions like Vaseline's new Spray & Go Moisturizer. I guarantee you it's the fastest-to-apply moisturizer you'll ever put on your body. Because seriously, when you're barely awake and scrambling around all foggy-brained to get yourself dressed in the morning, EVERY SECOND COUNTS.
(And we don't want to skip essential steps like moisturizing now, do we? No. No, we do not.)
How this works is just as the name implies: you just spray it on. It's a light, silky mist instead of a heavy lotion or cream, so it dispenses easily without clogging the nozzle of the container. It has exactly the same feel and texture as a spray-on sunscreen, if you've ever tried one of those, except this is a moisturizer not an SPF.
It takes, like, two seconds to cover your entire body (and the can even works upside down—score!). Then, you just rub it in, which takes another two seconds, and you're done! It sinks in really fast, so you're not forced to wait around naked before you get dressed, in fear of getting oily moisturizer residue over your outfit.
Probably not a moisturizer I'd use or recommend for Canadian winters—we need something a lot heartier then—but for summer, it's perfect. I like the subtle cocoa butter scent of the Cocoa Radiant formula, but it also comes in Dry Skin and Aloe Fresh versions.
