The exact products she was wearing at the 2014 Academy Awards.
Olivia Wilde, Academy Awards 2014

I picked Olivia for the best makeup of Oscars night, based on this stupendous cat's eye and matte pink mouth with a chic French feel. If you're going to do winged liner at the biggest red carpet event of the year, go big or go home is what I always say.

"We wanted the look to be simple and classic," says Olivia's makeup artist, Melanie Inglessis. "I created a very precise eye that makes a statement but still works well with her fresh skin and light peach lips."

It's slightly more impressive in the blown-out lighting at the top, but here's the close-up:

Since Olivia's a Revlon spokesperson, I naturally got a product list from them—although I will say, I'm not convinced it's their foundation she is wearing here. (For the drugstore, their foundation ain't bad, though.) Here we go....

The Skin

Melanie started by priming Olivia's skin with Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer.

The foundation they SAY she's wearing is Revlon PhotoReady Makeup in 004 Nude...

But I think it's far more likely Olivia is wearing something like Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, which is a favourite of makeup artists the world over (and totally, 100 percent worth the money).

To create a more luminous skin finish, Melanie used Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator in Bare Light. I know she likes this product; you can mix it with foundation or apply it straight.

The Brows

To subtly fill in the brows, Melanie used Revlon Brow Fantasy in Brunette.

The Eyes

The base shadow is Revlon ColorStay ShadowLinks in Taupe. (These are new powder eyeshadow singles that fit together like Lego, so you can mix and match to make your own palette.)

The liner Melanie used to draw the base of the cat eye is Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in Black.

Then on top, she drew with Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black for the perfect rich black wing with staying power. It looks like there is also a bit of white shadow along the edge of the black; try NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Santa Monica Blvd.

Finally, for the lashes, a few coats of Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious Volume + Length Mascara.

The Lips

To create the pale, matte lip, Melanie applied Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Complex:
