I feel like I've been searching my entire adult life for a good foot cream. You too? And gosh, I feel like I've tried them all at this point. The cutesy, fancy ones that smell great but can't moisturize worth a damn. The heavy-duty ones on that hard-to-find bottom shelf at the drugstore, that smell and feel horribly medicinal.
The problem with everything, though? I LOATHE when a foot cream doesn't sink in and leaves my feet feel all slimey and slippery. It makes it annoyingly hard to walk in sandals. And in the wintertime, that greasiness really isn't the most pleasant feeling in your socks. It just makes me non-compliant with using a foot cream.
However. Problem is solved now, since I've just discovered Weleda Foot Balm. It's a balm! Not a cream. And you will be amazed at how fast it soaks in. (So fast that you won't even need to wash your hands afterward, which I always want to do after applying greasy foot creams. Though maybe you still should, since you were just touching your feet and all.)
Here are the ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Alcohol, Arachis Hypogaea (Peanut), Fragrance (Parfum)*, Lanolin, Lanolin Alcohols, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Hectorite, Commiphora Myrrha, Calendula Officinalis, Sodium Beeswax, Limonene*, Linalool*, Geraniol*, Citral*, Coumarin*.
So it's that rare combo of natural AND elegant to use. I love how soft it leaves my feet, and that I actually want to use it in the daytime, with no fear of slipperiness in my shoes. So maybe Weleda Foot Balm is not quite as rich as the Shea It Isn't So—but twice a day usage has to make up for that, right? Combine it with my all-time favourite beauty gadget, the Micro Pedi, and you'll NEVER need to rely on pedicures for nice feet.
Have you tried it?
