Shailene Woodley, Teen Choice Awards 2014

Shailene Woodley's always been one to march to the beat of her own drum, and Sunday night's Teen Choice Awards were no exception—she went for a super-bare, subtly bronzey look that almost seemed like she wasn't wearing any makeup.

Respect. While I do think it's a bit TOO bare for a red carpet event (considering her hair and lack of earrings), it's definitely a look I'd wear on a day-to-day basis. I've got some more details on the exact products she's wearing—because I'm always curious about which ones receive the naturally-minded celeb's seal of approval.

But first, take a look at her Peter Pilotto dress and red Kurt Geiger stilettos:

As Tom & Lorenzo said: Girl, that's not your dress.

I suppose I can see the argument for pairing it with a neutral face, though I think a red lip would've done wonders. Oh well!

Actually quite nice once you zoom in, right? Here's exactly what her makeup artist, Roxy Saffaie, applied...

The Skin

The look started with a mist of Caudalie Beauty Elixir all over the face, neck and décolletage to prepare it for the makeup.

Next, Roxy primed her skin with Tarte Clean Slate Flawless 12-Hr Brightening Primer.

The foundation she chose for Shailene was Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation in Fair-Light Honey (a full-coverage powder foundation with a velvety finish). "I started at the centre of her face and blended out to her jawline until it was seamless," says Roxy.

To define Shailene's cheekbones, Roxy dusted on Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess. "Since colour was not a big part of this look, I wanted to do more with sculpting to bring out her beautiful features." .

The final skin touch was Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation Illuminator, applied down the bridge of her nose, at the outer corners of her eyes and above her brows.

The Eyes

To create Shailene's signature monochromatic eyes, Roxy applied Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow in Shimmering Bronze along the edges of her top and bottom lash lines.

Next, she applied the nude and taupe shadows from the Tarte Rainforest After Dark Limited Edition Colored Clay Eye & Cheek Palette at the outer corners of her eyes.

To keep Shailene's brows in place, Roxy brushed them with Tarte Colored Clay Tinted Brow Gel in Medium Brown. "This brow gel is awesome because the brush is so tiny, it makes detailing the brows naturally very easy," she says.

To finish the eyes, Shailene applied her own mascara—two coats of Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara.

The Lips

Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint in Hope completed the look. "This muted-down plum-rose colour was a wonderful finish to Shailene’s monochromatic look because it fit with in the colour family of her eyeshadow and cheeks, but added a bit of feminine softness to her overall look," says Roxy.
