New red carpet alert! It's only the second year for the iHeartRadio Music Awards—held Sunday night in Los Angeles—but already, the event has attracted some of the biggest names in music. (Not that the world really needed another awards show.)

Here are the beauty looks from the big night:

Zendaya

It's happening. As Zendaya's fame rises, her styling is getting elevated, too. (Even her name is just "Zendaya" now... not Zendaya Coleman.) Hands down, this is one of the prettiest looks I've seen on her so far—and I think even Giuliana Rancic would approve of this half-up, wavy hairstyle. (Hooray, a new one for the long, curly hairstyle club! It's like a unicorn sighting.) I still think she wears too much base for a teenager, but I love her brows and the relatively subtle brown shimmery eyes with sheer pinky gloss.

Brittany Snow

Speaking of improvements, this is a huge one. Compare it to Brittany's Oscars after-party look, where she was the victim of some wacky rosacea-giving lighting. Here, skin looks much improved, brows are fuller, and the lashes are toned down to a more reasonable level of chunkiness. But the very best things here are the loose side braid (still love 'em!) and the strawberry-red lips.

Taylor Swift

We all groan when we see Taylor wearing her red lipstick again and again, but then this is the alternative... and I'm not feeling it. The nude mouth seems to wash her out, but it's probably also that we can't even see her eye makeup underneath the bangs, and the weirdly poufy hairstyle. More face, less hair, and this could've been better.

Hailee Steinfeld

I know Hailee's got some teenage skin troubles, but I still love her look—and find she gets it generally right most of the time. The high knot and baby hairs along her hairline are super-adorable, and go perfectly with the soft, stained lips, flushed cheeks and smoked-out eyes. (And of course, au naturel brows.) I still can't figure out why her concealer is always creasing, though!

Alanna Masterson

It's Alanna's Beauty Editor debut, and I like what I see! The girl clearly knows what works for her, and it's all very simple: mid-length hair tonged for texture, glowy skin, straight lashes and a glossy red lip stain. I love her brows, but I have a feeling a brow whiz like Mary would know how to take these to the next level with a little tidying/filling. Is Alanna a double for Camilla Belle or what?!

Iggy Azalea

Is curly hair making a red carpet comeback? I have no idea if this is Iggy's real texture or not, but I kinda like it in a '80s comeback sort of way—the curls are much softer on her features than those harsh high ponytails we always see her in. Foundation is still fairly heavy, but at least everything else is subtle. I actually like those inner corner highlights!

Anna Camp

This is a nice look for Anna. I've been into pulled-out eyeshadow lately, so it's a great example of how that can give a more feline shape to the eyes, without doing the traditional cat eye with liner. I also like her hair off the face and behind the ears; it still looks so full, smooth and healthy. A few wonky things: a stray eyelash, a flaky nose, a twisted spaghetti strap, what looks like a stray bobby pin...

Greer Grammer

Blake Lively who??? Greer's blonde, wavy hair is equally covetable (although perhaps a bit over-highlighted if we're gonna be super-picky). She's so gorgeous, she could easily get away with a lighter touch on the makeup. And I still wonder what her brows would look like without the trimming.

Ariel Winter

Ariel clearly doesn't need these cray-cray lashes. And I'm not feeling the Kardashian-esque waves in her hair, nor the cheap-looking blue streaks. (Although I get it—17-year-olds do these things.) At least the raw materials are still there, underneath it all: amazing skin, great brows, the cutest little freckles.

Gina Rodriguez

Well Gina sure got stuck with the crap lighting. Talk about unfair! It's probably a combination of that and the makeup that's making her skin appear a bit dehydrated—after all, she's only 30. At least her brows look great!

Jessica Szohr

Did I say Greer Grammer had too-obvious highlights? I take it back. Jessica has too-obvious highlights. I'm all for balayage, but the contrast here with her dark base is way too strong... we should be noticing her face, not her colour job. Speaking of face, she's got normal-girl skin, not Hollywood skin, and I sympathize. This is where shimmer textures are not your friend. Pore-minimizing primer, plus a careful mattification with an HD powder, would work wonders.
