My new favourite tint for an instant rosy blush.

Remember how obsessed I was (and still am) with the Dior Nail Glow

Well, now Dior has come out with a version for the face called Cheek & Lip Glow, and it's perfect.

The concept behind the brand's Glow lineup—which includes this lip and cheek stain, the nail polish and this (also incredible) lip balm is basically "you, only better" beauty. Each gives you a sheer, transparent wash of rosy pink colour, as if you were flushing from within.

Sound good? I thought so.

Cheek & Lip Glow, which comes in just one universal shade, features a colour-adjusting technology that reacts to the moisture levels in your skin and lips. That means it will develop into your own custom level of colour.

Dior Cheek and Lip Glow

Dior Cheek & Lip Glow develops into a customized flush depending on your moisture levels.

The texture is a gel, and it's quite fluid, although not as liquidy and spill-prone as, say, a Benetint. And it's not glossy like Sonia Kashuk's Lip & Cheek Tint, another favourite of mine. Instead, it dries into a seamless, flat stain that you can't even feel on your skin—it truly looks like it's coming from the inside instead of makeup.

The minty-rosy scent is divine. And I gotta say, the ball applicator is the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Here's what it looks like on my skin:

Swatch of Dior Cheek & Lip Glow (still wet).

You can really see how sheer and fluid it is, right? This is before it dried down, so the wet look all evaporates within a minute.

Now, if you're planning to wear this on your cheeks, a few caveats. First, I'm not sure how well it will show up on medium and dark skin tones. Even on me—pale as can be—one layer as a blush is quite subtle. But this might be because of the colour-adjusting technology, and perhaps it'll go deeper on darker skin, I don't know.

I've found that I can build it up if I do a repeat layer, as you can see in this pic. Bit more intense:

A heads up though, blending becomes more of a problem when you start layering it up. If you look closely, my application is a bit patchy on one cheek. Oops! I should have taken more time with it. That said, I do find this stain much easier to work with than the quick-drying Benetint. (Poor Benetint... I used to love him, but I've moved on.)

I'm also wearing a few layers of Cheek & Lip Glow on my lips, and that's where I adore it most of all.

Is this the perfect lip stain or what?!

Obsessed, I tell you. I love the colour; I love the finish; I love how it feels (which is like nothing).

If you're a stain addict like myself, this is one prod you don't want to miss!
