A raspberry pink lip stain, kohl-lined smoky eyes and a sheer peachy blush atop a sprinkling of freckles: these were just a few of the red carpet beauty standouts lately!
These were the best celebrity beauty looks this week:
I'm head over heels for every single aspect of Sophia's hair and makeup, from the pink lip stain to the flushed cheeks to the slightly chunky lashes. The soft waves frame her face (and the hair colour picks up on her eyes), plus her skin looks SO healthy and radiant.
A sultry look for Gabrielle, with the focus on black liner all the way around the waterlines, and then smoky shadow expertly blended up the lids. Nude lips, healthy skin, and at least the lashes aren't too distracting! Her hair is incredibly sexy also.
We haven't seen Lucy in a while, but she looks as pretty as ever in this matching peachy lips and cheeks look, which shows off her cute freckles. I'm not opposed to false lashes for her eye type, but these ones are perhaps too long at the inner corners.
I always love Dakota's juxtaposition of dressy makeup with casual hair, and this is no exception. I love how her shimmering blue-black smoky eyes extend out horizontally instead of up vertically, and then contrast against super-fresh skin, sheer lips and slightly disheveled bangs.
Sometimes, it's the simplest hairstyles that look the best, like Emily's ultra-sleek, straight hair in a deep side part. I like that the makeup doesn't compete too much; she paired it with natural lashes, bare brows and a sweep of peach blush.
It's great to see Emily being a bit more playful in her beauty look; you can't really see her perky ponytail here, but it's super-cute! The peach lipstick and blush flatter her flawless skin, and the eyes are defined but without any harsh lines.
I always love what Hailee does with her makeup, and here it's a cat eye in unexpected brown (instead of black), with the colour through the waterlines as well, plus a thick fringe of lashes. Lids, lips and cheeks all match, and then her hair is loose and casual.
It can't compare to her gorgeousness at the CFDA Awards, but I do appreciate that Emmy took a risk with this matte, fluoro pink lip colour. I like it with the natural lashes and shimmering rose gold shadow, just feel the matching blush is overkill.
Halle looks great in the close-up, but from afar you can see that her foundation shade isn't working. (Happens to the best of us!) I still love her flirty bangs and nude makeup palette, although I'm still hoping she'll surprise us with a bold, bright lipstick one day. She's definitely got the lips and teeth for it!
Finally, a Brie look I can get behind! I've found her hair and makeup quite hit and miss in the past, but I think she nailed it this time: natural skin and lashes, smoky eyes, no harsh liner and a soft updo. This minimal, tone-on-tone makeup really suits her.
I would never have recognized Lizzy, who usually wears some kind of smoky eye with nude lips. Nice to switch it up with this bright crimson mouth, fluttery lashes and warm shimmery copper shadow! She has a totally different vibe, and I'm into it.
Allison paired fuchsia lipstick with long lashes, shimmery pale pink eyeshadow and a sheer rosy blush, plus flat-ironed straight hair in a centre part. You'd think all that pink would be too much, but it really works with her skin tone. And those earrings are too fun!
How amazing is Isabelle's eye makeup?! She killed it with the strong black cat eyes (with liner on the bottom as well as the top), plus an unexpected orangey shadow. The effect is graphic and cool against her fresh, freckled skin and natural brows.
So pretty! Elizabeth is rocking the heck out of this short, strawberry blonde pixie cut. The makeup is so feminine: all shades of matte rose, with a hint of shimmer at the inner corners of the eyes.
Not sure what's happening with her hair, but Sami's wet-look grey smoky eyes are fantastic. The black liner in the lower waterlines grounds the look, and it's so pretty with clear, glossy lips and dewy-fresh skin.
