Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively and more.

We've talked about the hottest party of the year in Cannes, and now it's time to dissect the beauty looks that debuted on the annual festival red carpet. I've rounded up the must-see hair and makeup from all the photocalls and premieres. There's a lot to see here, so first impressions will be short and rapid-fire!

Kristen Stewart

What I love: Only Kristen could make rooty, bleached-out hair look actually elegant. It's the expertly chosen makeup—I adore the strong eyes with red lips, and you'll notice she has a burgundy in her lower waterlines. What I'd change: Nothing (this was perfectly executed, even if I don't love this particular hair colour).

Kristen is wearing: Serum // Foundation in 30 Beige // Powder in No. 20 // Eyeliner in Noir Intense // Liquid liner in Noir // Mascara in 10 Noir // Brow powder in 50 Brun // Lip balm // Lip liner in Rouge Profond // Lipstick in Rouge Charnel

What I love: Well, she gets major points for creativity! And I love how Kristen is constantly mixing it up with her hair. What I'd change: While I'm not opposed to the burgundy shadow, I don't know about having it so strong underneath the eyes—that almost always makes people look scary/ill.

Blake Lively

What I love: Blake's cute faux freckles, beachy textured ponytail and thick fringe of lashes. What I'd change: I like that her brows are soft, but think they need more fullness through the mid-section. And I might tame and camouflage the dry, ashy roots with a tinted hair mascara.

Blake is wearing: Foundation // Blush in Soft Pink // Eyeshadow in Nude Intense // Mascara // Lipstick in Blake's Pink

What I love: Blake looks so pretty with her hair off her face, and in this blue shade. The lashes work because everything else is soft, soft, soft. What I'd change: Besides the brows, nothing.

What I love: When Blake wears her hair down, it's just SO good. Also enjoying this muted medium pink lipstick on her. What I'd change: This time, the lashes are perhaps a bit over-the-top, especially with the glitter.

Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'Cafe Society'.

Bella Hadid, Cafe Society Cannes premiere, 2016

What I love: Bella doesn't look like she's wearing foundation—her skin has such a natural glow. Also love the soft shading on her eyelids, and the fluttery upper lashes. (See, falsies are fine when they're done RIGHT!) What I'd change: Nothing.

Bella is wearing: Moisturizer // Foundation in 3 Fair // Concealer in 2 Fair // Contour and highlighter // Blush in First Love // Powder in 1 Fair // Eyeshadow in The Sophisticate // Eyeshadow in The Dolce Vita // Mascara in Glossy Black // Lipstick in Penelope Pink

What I love: Bella's bangs. (Not sure if they are real or fake... they look real!) Also fun to see her in more colour, since she usually wears nudes. What I'd change: Nothing.

Léa Seydoux

What I love: Léa's textured wavy bob with the bold, matte red lipstick. The colour's precise, rounded shape is amazing. Not sure about the false lashes, but they're not offending me at this angle. What I'd change: Nothing.

Aishwarya Rai

What I love: Aishwarya really went for it with this purple lipstick! So unexpected but I think it looks cool, especially with her hair up. What I'd change: Her eyeshadow is too heavy-handed, and I'd rather a peachy blush (also needs to be better blended).

Charlize Theron

What I love: This raspberry lipstick is outstanding on Charlize, and so is her side-parted wavy lob (my favourite hairstyle for her). Her brows are looking more natural than in the past, and I like that she just did mascara. What I'd change: Nothing.

What I love: This is such a cool, masculine-inspired look—we haven't seen anything like it on the red carpet for ages! Charlize totally pulls off the tight updo; her skin looks incredible, and it's fun to see her try something more experimental with the smoky eye makeup. What I'd change: Nothing.

Jessica Chastain

What I love: Jessica's natural-looking brows and soft makeup continue to impress me. It looks like she went shorter with her lob. What I'd change: I feel like her hair could be a bit more full and fluffy here, not so limp and piecey.

Elle Fanning

What I love: Elle's peach lipstick for sure! It's so gorgeous with her ultra-fair colouring. Also love her centre-parted, voluminous blowout. What I'd change: Nothing.

What I love: Elle's skin and brows are the standouts for me here. With stained cheeks and lips, she looks youthful and fresh. What I'd change: Nothing.

Bella Heathcote

What I love: Bella's look is one of my faves on this list! The smouldering shimmery-smoky eyes are dramatic without overpowering her, and are balanced by sheer glossy lips and shiny sleek hair in a deep side part. What I'd change: Nothing.

What I love: The "daytime" version of Bella's side-parted straight lob is all about flawless skin and a creamy red lipstick. It looks modern with just taupe shadow, no liner, and nearly-bare lashes. What I'd change: Nothing.

Lily-Rose Depp

What I love: Lily-Rose's eye makeup. How great is the flash of bright gold at her inner corners, surrounded by black liner in a cat shape? It's perfect paired with full brows, nude lipstick and undone, half-up hair. What I'd change: Just blending the lip liner.

Lily Rose-Depp, The Dancer Cannes photocall, 2016

What I love: For day, you notice Lily-Rose's beautiful skin even more. (Well, she IS only 16!) Again, a peachy-nude lipstick, but with a matte taupe eye. She looks air-brushed in the best way. What I'd change: Nothing.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner, From the Land of the Moon Cannes premiere, 2016

Close-up of Kendall Jenner at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'From the Land of the Moon'.

What I love: Kendall's skin, especially on her forehead, looks so good—like she just came from a facial. Her eyeshadow is well-blended, and her brows look very natural. What I'd change: It's too aggressive. The dress was enough of a statement without the wet-look hair and giant earrings. What bothers me most is the lip liner under her bottom lip. Beauty greed!

Marion Cotillard

Close-up of Marion Cotillard at the 2016 Cannes photocall for 'It's Only the End of the World'.

What I love: Marion's soft lipstick—I'm not even sure how to describe that colour! Her lashes, blush and skin all have such a delicate touch. What I'd change: I'd go more feathery on the brows.

What I love: Again, such beautifully soft, fresh makeup. Brows are better here, too. What I'd change: Marion's hair looks a little dry.

Adriana Lima

What I love: How is it possible that Adriana looks straight out of a magazine ad, even though this is real life—with NO re-touching? If I had features this chiseled and prefect, I'd wear my hair this severe, too. What I'd change: Nothing. (Like I've said before, Adriana can wear any false lash style, and any contour—and still look amazing. It's a skill.)

Riley Keough

What I love: I have a Riley beauty crush brewing! Her hair is so impressively thick and healthy, and I also love how low-key she is with makeup—even for a premiere at Cannes. What I'd change: Maybe just softening the edges of her lipstick, so it looks more pressed-on.

Irina Shayk

What I love: I don't think we've ever seen Irina looking this fresh-faced. To me, she is even more beautiful than usual without lashes, eyeshadow, etc. What I'd change: Nothing.

Doutzen Kroes

What I love: Here's another instance of barely any makeup, and it's not like Doutzen needs it. Her striking blue eyes already pop like crazy, and her skin has a wonderful natural radiance. What I'd change: Her hairstyle could be more special (the half-up is a little boring).

Adèle Exarchopoulos

Adele Exarchopoulos, The Last Face Cannes premiere, 2016

What I love: Adèle has the best eye shape for makeup. The highlighting at her inner corners is stunning, and she totally carries the false lashes and winged eyeliner (that on most people, would look too strong). I also love her pinky lips and warm hair colour. What I'd change: Nothing.

Toni Garrn

What I love: Toni has one of the most immaculate complexions I have EVER seen. I'm also mesmerized by her rich red lips, and love that she kept her brows, lashes and contouring subtle. What I'd change: Nothing.

Laetitia Casta

What I love: Laetitia's bouncy bob. Also her eye makeup—tawny coppery tones, with just mascara'd lashes and no eyeliner. Such a natural beauty, this woman. What I'd change: Nothing.

Alessandra Ambrosio

What I love: It's rare to see Alessandra in a red lip, or with her hair up! What I'd change: To me, this would have been better without the predictable black eyeliner and false lashes.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

What I love: I've got the exact same comment for Rosie as Alessandra—it's rare to see her in a red lip and updo, as well! What I'd change: I don't mind the black liner or lashes on Rosie; what bothers me most are her muddy cheeks.

Jourdan Dunn

Jourdan Dunn, The Unknown Girl Cannes premiere, 2016

Close-up of Jourdan Dunn at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'The Unknown Girl'.

What I love: Jourdan went all ethereal with a loose updo and shimmering mauves on lips and lids. Love this colour palette. What I'd change: The graphic black liner wings would have been more appropriate with a different hairstyle and dress. To me, they don't fit with the romanticism of this look.

Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton, Loving Cannes premiere, 2016

What I love: Mischa looks happy, and radiant. Her skin is in great condition, and I really like this smoky grey eye with black in the waterlines. What I'd change: Her foundation doesn't match the rest of her skin.

Barbara Palvin

Barbara Palvin, Julieta Cannes premiere, 2016

Barbara Palvin at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'Julieta'.

What I love: Barbara's skin (like Toni Garrn's) is out of this world. I love that she looks so geniunely happy here, and actually pulls off these crazy lashes. The bare lips and hair back help, but mostly it's because of her model genes. What I'd change: Obviously, I like my lashes a tad more restrained!

Rebecca Hall

What I love: Some people end up too "done" and stiff on the red carpet, but not Rebecca—she looks like herself, and fully comfortable. It's always great to see freckles that aren't covered up by heavy foundation. What I'd change: Nothing.

Ana de Armas

Ana de Armas, Hands of Stone Cannes photocall, 2016

Ana de Armas at the 2016 Cannes photocall for 'Hands of Stone'.

What I love: Ana's eyes are such an unusual colour, complimented by her Ombré hair and gorge soft eye makeup. What I'd change: The bottom lip liner. I don't get it!

Mélanie Thierry

Melanie Thierry, The Dancer Cannes photocall, 2016

What I love: Mélanie's confidence to go bare-faced (and bare-lashed!), except for what looks like a tinted lip balm. Her top knot also could not be more adorable. What I'd change: Nothing.

Naomi Watts

What I love: Naomi's blonde lob in a deep side part is definitely her Life Cut. The black liner close to her roots defines her eyes without looking harsh (or needing mega lashes). What I'd change: A little more blending on the blush.

Catrinel Marlon

What I love: Here's the pressed-on lip texture I've been talking about! Catrinel is too gorgeous in this half-up hairstyle, flushed cheeks, and eyeshadow that sculpts and defines her creases. What I'd change: It's not a huge deal here, but even she is doing the bottom lip liner thing.

Gong Li

Gong Li, Cafe Society Cannes premiere, 2016

Gong Li at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'Cafe Society'.

Close-up of Gong Li at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'Cafe Society'.

What I love: How is Gong 50 years old?! Such amazing skin. I like how she did her brow fans, and the winged eye makeup. What I'd change: The lip gloss washes her out, and it would be better if she wore the earrings or the necklace, not both.

Emilia Schüle

Emilia Schule, Cafe Society Cannes premiere, 2016

Emilia Schüle at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'Cafe Society'.

Emilia Schule, Cafe Society Cannes premiere, 2016

Close-up of Emilia Schüle at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'Cafe Society'.

What I love: Emilia's cool-toned pink lips are the focus against lots of bare skin. Her blush is so seamless, and I like how she did natural lashes. What I'd change: Her brows only look half filled-in, and too red. I'd love to see a softer, feathery look in a lighter, cooler brown.

Paz Vega

What I love: Paz rocks this short haircut (although I liked it even better here). The way she did her eyes—liner in the waterlines with lighter soft shadow—is one of my go-tos. What I'd change: Stahp with the bottom lip liner, please!

Caitriona Balfe

What I love: Caitriona's makeup always looks like it took her 10 minutes—and I mean that in a good way! She's not trying too hard in this hot pink lipstick and natural lashes. What I'd change: I prefer her hair down, and her brows seem a bit light for this hair colour (I assume she dyes it darker?).

Eva Herzigova

What I love: Eva is channelling Marilyn Monroe with this wavy hairstyle—it's automatic glam. What I'd change: Her eyeshadow doesn't look quite blended at the outer corners.

Julia Roberts

What I love: Julia's brows look really nice, and I like that her lashes aren't screaming for attention. What I'd change: I don't like this brassy hair colour, or the dated style (something sleeker/shorter/shinier would be way more flattering). She, too, is doing the bottom lip thang—and also inexplicably applying eyeliner under her lower lashes.

Chloë Sevigny

What I love: Chloë's classic glam, which still looks fresh. That's because she's not wearing tons of foundation or any contour, and she didn't over-line her lips (as is the trend). What I'd change: Nothing.

Ana Beatriz Barros

What I love: Ana has amazing eyes and flawless skin; both make her an ideal candidate for this off-the-face ponytail. What I'd change: We get it, you did smoky eyes. I don't think they needed this much product, though.

Clémence Poésy

What I love: Clémence is doing that "cool French girl" thing of pairing a dressy dress with messy hair, bare skin and a touch of eye makeup (no lipstick). What I'd change: I just want to nourish those lips with a slick of sheer balm or gloss.

Karlie Kloss

Karlie Kloss, Julieta Cannes premiere, 2016

What I love: Karlie's honey blonde hair colour is so pretty here. What I'd change: I'm not down with this hairband. It also doesn't seem to go with the brows and blush, which are too deep and dramatic for such a girly hairstyle.

Frédérique Bel

Frederique Bel, Cafe Society Cannes premiere, 2016

Frédérique Bel at the 2016 Cannes premiere of 'Cafe Society'.

What I love: Frédérique's voluminous updo really frames her face well, and I also love how the eyeliner accentuates her almond-shaped eyes. What I'd change: She comes across so formal, like she's trying too hard. Although pretty, the makeup isn't the most modern and could use more freshness.

Kirsten Dunst

What I love: Good for Kirsten for rocking a bold red mouth in our era of over-drawn, over-injected lips! She wisely kept her eye makeup to just mascara. What I'd change: Her skin finish is very dry and the foundation is really clinging. Also not feeling the flippy ends of the hairstyle.

Kate Moss

What I love: Kate still has the most incredible model stare, and I love her eye colour. What I'd change: She's better than this obvious, unblended contouring on the sides of her cheeks! Her brows could also be more defined.

Who had your favourite (and least favourite) beauty looks on this red carpet?
