The latest "skinspiration" from the red carpet.

This week, celebs skipped the powder and gave naturally dewy summer skin a starring role in their beauty looks. Take a look:

Phoebe Tonkin

What I love: Phoebe's makeup may be neutral, but it's not at all boring. This example really shows that you don't always need to use colour—she is only wearing the faintest hint of nude blush and sheer balm, with chunky lashes. It's her radiant skin that makes the difference (note the seamless match to her neck and chest). The undone hair is pretty for summer. What I'd change: I'd love to see her brows a little less precise and more feathery.

Camila Alves

What I love: Camila's dewy warm skin looks amazing with the white dress, her natural dark curls and a pop of sheer red lipstick. She nailed the whole "glamorous but effortless" thing for sure. The wind machine effect also helps! What I'd change: I think the false lashes sort of drag her eyes down at the edges.

Aly Michalka

What I love: Aly's adorable freckles and blush. At least I think that's blush—dusted across her nose, it mimics a sun-kissed effect and is SO pretty. I love her natural skin texture, soft brows and the lived-in eye makeup. Her hair colour and waves are absolutely gorgeous. WANT! What I'd change: Taking away the false lashes would make this even better.

Lupita Nyong'o

What I love: Lupita's gleaming skin and orange mouth. Although she's a pro at pulling off bold, cool-toned makeup, I love seeing warmer, subtler shades on her. Note the clever angled eyeshadow, and how her braids turn into a cute top knot. What I'd change: Nothing.

Elsa Hosk

What I love: I have a thing for peach, and Elsa wears the shade beautifully—even as eyeshadow. The black liquid liner and darkened lower lashes really bring out her light blue eyes, and her blowout is super-glam. I spy some lovely freckles here as well! What I'd change: I suppose the heavy contouring and over-lined lips... but it's a sad fact of life that models can get away with stuff that'd look extreme on the rest of us. Oh well!
