Most products you read about on BEAUTYEDITOR.ca were sent gratis by beauty companies (which is the industry standard for magazine beauty writers and editors). Since the latter has been our day job for years (and still is), it’s safe to assume that we didn’t hand over any cash for anything talked about on this site. Don’t hate us because we live in a world where haircuts are free and jars of La Mer show up at our doorsteps! Still, we like to think of this as a good thing for our readers, too—it allows us the freedom to only write about what we really like.
