Simone is a Toronto-based freelance writer and stylist who specializes in beauty, fashion and travel. A pro when it comes to getting all her beauty products to fit into those tiny plastic carry-on bags, she has also mastered the art of the duty-free makeup counter makeover. Though she would describe her personal beauty regimen as minimalist, she has a weakness for pretty packaging and probably has one of the most organized makeup bags around. After studying at Western University she spent some time wandering around the world, learning about different cultures and picking up French and Spanish along the way. Though she’s worked as everything from a high school teacher to a face painter (at the Toronto Zoo), she has always returned to writing and styling. Her byline has appeared in Toronto Life, the Toronto Star and a number of online publications.
