Just in case you were, you know, short on ideas for how to spend that spare $250,000 you had lying around. (That's USD, BTW.)
A company called Azature have just come out with this, the world's most expensive nail polish—and that's because it contains 267 carats of black diamonds. That's right. IN the polish itself.
I don't know about you, but to me this doesn't make too much sense when you could buy, say, this dupe from Sally Hansen (it's actually called Black Diamond) and then use all the cash you saved for... I don't know... some REAL black diamond jewellery?
Of course, the people at Azature are no dummies—they're also selling a $25 department store version (it'll be avail at Fred Segal in the States), which I guess is like getting cubic zirconia? Or something.
The crazy part is that this isn't even the first brand to come out with "the world's most expensive nail polish." A couple years back, Model's Own held the title with their $130,000 Gold Rush polish—but that was just a diamond-encrusted bottle. (Sillies! What were they thinking?!)
Oh, beauty industry. Never change.
Do you think it's obscene to sell a $250,000 nail polish?
Would you buy it for $25 though?
Price tag aside, how do you feel about this sparkly black shade?
