Most of us have been embracing the bold brow trend in a big way... but maybe not in the Rodarte Spring 2015 way.

Makeup artist James Kaliardos sent models down the runway with brows full of very realistic-looking piercings. You've gotta love Fashion Week for the pure shock value!

In reality, the silver rings weren't permanent—just accessories that were temporarily glued on.

The rest of the makeup was "inspired by the idea of a beautiful, fresh face—youthful and vibrant," says James, who used all NARS to create the look.

I especially love the bronzey tones on the lids, which some models wore more intensely than others.
