Rodial Glamoxy 15 Percent Fruit Acid Exfoliating Pads

Rodial Glamoxy 15% Fruit Acid Exfoliating Pads.

If you're looking to improve your skin (and who isn't?), but don't want to get into prescription topicals or cosmetic procedures, then one of the best things I can recommend to you is some sort of daily acid-based exfoliant.

One that you can tolerate using twice daily is even better, because that's really what's going to make a difference with your results.

But 'tolerate' is the key word. You never want to overdo it. For this reason, I personally need to stay away from glycolic acids—my skin just can't handle them. Lactic acid and fruit acid, however, I can definitely do.

As you may know, I've been on the Lotion P50 train lately, primarily a lactic acid, and that's been a wonderful, skin-changing ride. In fact, I've already used up my supply—sob! Before I replenished, I thought I'd test-drive using an alternative acid product this month, the Rodial Glamoxy 15% Fruit Acid Exfoliating Pads

Let me tell you, the Rodial pads might not work the exact wonders that P50 does... but they're a very, VERY good substitute. The 15 percent fruit acid is extremely high for an over-the-counter product, and yet, it doesn't make me sensitive like glycolic does. (Another factor is that I was coming from using P50 already, so if you're starting from scratch and are sensitive, I'd only use them once a day for the first week.)

Rodial Glamoxy 15 Percent Fruit Acid Exfoliating Pads (open)

Each package contains 50 pre-moistened circular pads.

Here are the ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Extract, Glycerin, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Polysorbate 20, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Extract, Propylene Glycol, Acer Saccharinum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Fagus Sylvatica Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Disodium EDTA, Parfum (Fragrance), Limonene, Benzyl Alcohol, Geraniol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Linalool, Benzoic Acid, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate.

You're meant to swipe one pad over your entire face on clean, dry skin. You might feel the tiniest tingles at first, from the acid working, but it's nothing major. So far, my pores have remained as clean as they were on P50, and my skin feels smooth and fresh—no dead skin cell build-up nor flakiness.

Each package contains 50 pre-moistened pads, so you're getting a 25-day supply... which makes these a bit of an investment. But the pads are so soaked in liquid that I think you could totally get away with cutting them in half to stretch your supply out to 50 days. Plus, there IS the convenience factor, and like everything I've used from Rodial, they smell and feel amazing. Would love to hear what you think!
